Application: Cold heading rivet machines
Requirements: shock resistant, toughness, full bearing honed ID, concentricity .0005 TIR maximum.
Rivet machine require accurate ID to OD consistency to meet today’s cycles required in heading machinery
Ejector sleeves
Materials: A-2, 0-2,H-13, L6,M-2, S-7, 440C copper alloys
Application: plastic molding
Requirements: concentricity, honed 10 surface
Sleeves are stationary at the mold line and allow the core pin to be pulled back during the ejection cycle or move forward over the stationary core to push the molded part off the core pin during the ejection cycle.
